About the Festival
India shares a special connection with the Emirate of Dubai and its people – the two cultures pride themselves on their roots in ancient history, the deep significance that both accord to the arts, and the rapidly growing modern, innovative and cosmopolitan economies that they both possess. Against this backdrop of a growing and close-knit affinity, the Consulate General of India is partnering with Teamwork Arts to present a festival of arts and culture in Dubai, titled 'India by the Creek', presented by Dubai Duty Free, with support from Dubai Economy & Tourism as our official strategic partner and Khaleej Times as our official media partner.
The Festival will be held from March 8-10, 2024. It will be spread over three days at Al Seef Dubai. It will engage artistes from both India and Dubai. The Festival will host a diverse range of activities, including music performances, literary discourse, poetry sessions, and interactive workshops. India by the Creek promises to be an iconic celebration of deeply entrenched cultural ties, and looks to cement enduring friendships to herald a future of hope, fuelled by the arts.
